Ladies and gentlemen welcome to my blog!

Before anything else, let me have a short introduction of myself.

I am Mariane Cryssa a.k.a. EmCeePurpleMee. I am a graduate of Bachelor of Secondary education major in Social Studies. Yes, you heard right, I am a teacher by profession, writer and video editor by life. Well, I honestly love to edit videos, especially when we’re talking about movies and music videos. Editing is kind of stressful, but it is the stress that I actually enjoy.

As I am still starting my teaching career, I will yet to know if this will also be a stress that I will enjoy the rest of my life. Hahaha. But I love teaching. Presently, I’m teaching in an online English platform 51talk. I’ve been teaching there since November 2017, and so far, I enjoyed it very much. I get to meet lots of different learners, and you also get to know more about their culture.

Anyways, let’s now talk about my blog. I named it “Mariane in Wonderland”. It is inspired by the movie “Alice in Wonderland” obviously.

When we say wonderland, it refers to a place that is full of wonderful things, that’s according to the dictionary.

Since this blog will be about everything, anything under the sun, we’ll be talking about a lot of random stuff.  I am also hoping to inspire the people about learning more about my specialization which is the Social Studies. This major is actually being taken for granted by many. Hopefully, I’ll be able to help them realize the significance of studying it.

Let’s put aside all of these dramas and start writing!
